He cleared his throat and pinched Lin Mian’s chin to stop him from continuing his mischief.

“Stop messing around. You’re a person, not a puppy.”

Lin Mian, now in full puppy mode, started whining.

“Then… can I touch Mr. Pei’s… you know?”

“No, you can’t.”

“Why not? Aren’t I your boyfriend?”

“That’s… a post-marriage benefit.”

“You get kissing. That’s the pre-marriage benefit.”
